Is being held until the list moderator can review it for approval.
Message has a suspicious header
Was this also one of the messages which got you the "suspicious header"
reply? If yes.... Somebody waved it through after all. If your message
with the error reply did still not arrive, moderator is still
unavailable I presume.
The above mail which reached the list got a favourable Spam evaluation

And yes, it seems uio.no uses most modern spam-prevention techniques
including SPF validation. If you sent other mails with other mailing
system or different accounts they might not be as well behaved as the
gmail servers. You did switch off html?
As these filter techniques become more and more common (I've been
bitten myself by some of these watch dogs) what uio.no servers are
doing is not exactly over agressive.
The only rather strong restriction is to flatly refuse html and
attachements which I guess are from the early days of this mailinglist
when these were common restrictions to keep the used bandwith low.
Since I think somebody registered one of the last MB domains, maybe a
transfer of the list would also be a possibility with more active
moderation as it is now. But we would need Thomas cooperation for that.
