[MB] Why did no one mention this?

For some reason, I bought the Evening Standard this eve. I usually
don't. In fact, I never do. Sometimes people leave it on the train and
I read it. I bought it tonight. Who knows why?

And a few pages in, in a little corner at the top of the page 'Welcome
back Modesty Blaise!' And an article a little later, with background
info, and the mention 'La Machine' starts on Monday.

I will scan the article a little later.

But did I miss someone mentioning this?

amazing that they're re-running it! I'd love to hear more about it.

Looking forward to seeing the scan - thanks for letting us know.

I can't quite lay my hands on my scanner. I must admit to not having
seen it since we moved house just over a year ago.

So you can have some bad photographs of the newspaper, and I will scan
when I find mine, or do it in work next week.

I shall also buy the ES on Monday :)

cheers,

Starts where? What starts? The original comic strips?

Really she is back? This is the best news I had in weeks!!!!
It means
something, and that something is beautiful. Modesty is very much a
child of the '60, yet her stories are perfectly young, and I am sure
they will delight a whole new bunch of people who never had a chance to
hear of her before.
